A Celebrity. A Rock Star. A Millionaire. A Sport Superstar. Do you really have to be any of those to have high value and turn heads?
The short answer is...no. But many of us think value is limited to those kinds of people. I mean, those are the types of people who can get anything they want....they are high value due to the rarity in terms of image, demand, and what they can do.
Everybody wants to have or align with anything that has perceived high value. That creates demand and desire - for you.But forget aiming for that level. How about living with high value in your own everyday life?
People respond to anything with value. Why do people want to ALIGN with those who have high value? Why do we all want the best and the most?
It's like the friend who says he knows Brad Pitt. "How?" you ask. "Well," he begins, "I have a 2nd cousin who's friend's brother has a neice that knows some guy that served him coffee once".
However, you are no celebrity, superstar or millionaire. So we need to learn the art and skill of demonstrating high value in our every day life.
What Determines And Defines High Value?
We look at the gorgeous girl (or guy) with somebody average looking. Our immediate thoughts are often: they are is out of their league! Surely they should be with somebody of the same VALUE, i.e. same level of attractiveness.
The same strategy happens with everything in life, not just relationships.
So value is
being (or having) something somebody wants. When you have that *something*, people go out of their way to get it.
Then Demonstrate Your Value In The Right Way....
You can be a brilliant painter making masterpieces. But unless you get your artwork into a showroom- you are just another unknown artist.
People are the gateway to every opportuity in our lives. Relationships, social life, career, business, lifestyle. So not only do we have to work on our personal value- we have to work on SOCIAL VALUE.
We have to learn how to understand people, Otherwise it is so easy for others to have the wrong perception of you.
